I blew my diet.
That everyone does this
won’t make it funny.
MS cuts no slack.
Eat badly and you will pay.
A matter of when.
Won't gorge on cookies.
That is my solemn promise.
At least for a while.

Well my body reacts within an hour if I blow my diet... giving me a false sense of a MS attack. Scary and a constant reminder why my diet is very important and should not be messed with. But it is so darn hard... especially when you once could eat certain things without problems.
I have blown my diet many times, and paid a high price. You would think I'd learn, but nope...I crave things that are no no foods, and just give in. It's the dairy that gets me, I LOVE cheese.
We humans never learn! I'm not as strict a diet follower as others here on the blogosphere, but I know when I've been "naughty" and so does my body. Sometimes, though, a little self-indulgence does wonders for the psyche, and that is worth some of the physical payback!
Peace,
Muff
You did not "blow your diet" it's just short term memory loss. :)
Caregivingly Yours, Patrick
Andaje, Karen, Muff, and Patrick,
Here was my excuse. The cookies didn't have gluten or milk. So they were okay! They also used dark chocolate. That's health food these days, isn't it? Ah well, they were so good I couldn't eat just one or two ... but three and four and ... well, the entire dozen. Oh, but they tasted so good. But it has taken me a week to recover and who knows what's going on silently in the brain? But, Patrick, yours was the comment that had me laughing throughout the day. ST memory loss! Wooee, that's kind of like the devil made me do it.
Nobody ever said sin wasn't fun.
Judy
I guess I blow my diet all the time because I have to have my dark chocolate chip and pecan Pepperidge Farm cookies...LOL
Life is short, it is okay to blow your diet once in awhile :-)
