A Moment of Peace — Encore

Sometimes one gets lost
in the hustle and bustle
and forgets to breathe.

Finding one’s stillness
becomes elusive when pressed
to match the world’s whir.

A moment of peace
restores and rejuvenates
so one can go on.

Circumstances remain very similar to when I took my leave on August 5, 2013. I’m holding up despite brutal stress and scary MS reality in the face of stress. This encore poem captures the spirit of my current focus as I work diligently on finding peace. I continue to read your blogs and remain grateful that you are in my life. When I have more to say, I will readily share it with you.

Finding peace has become more difficult... I hope you find at least moments of peace soon.

So perfectly expressed. Take a breather and come back when you are ready. Encores have more meaning when you replay them :) mary

Even the "encores" are beautiful! Thanks for the reminder. I do try to get that silent stillness at times. It allows me to listen to my mind. Sounds strange, but it works.

Thank you, Laura. It was good to hear that you were hiking and enjoying the woods though anxiety about MS was present.
