Successful Crossing?

http://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Category:Paintings_of_boats&fileuntil=Hendrik+van+Minderhout+-+A+Mediterranean+Harbour+Scene+-+WGA15703.jpg#mediaviewer/File:Carl_Friedrich_Schulz_-_Fischerboote_%281835%29.jpg

A smile ferries me
across storms, rocks, and eddies
which might capsize me.

Will I reach the shore?
A jagged course line impedes
my being certain.

Caught in the pretense
my life will turn out okay,
I smile at the world.

Muff, Gail, and Karen, the best part of the voyage is that I have fellow travelers like you. Let's all keep smiling!

Judy, I am putting this poem into the personal notebook with all my thoughts of my past journey with the MS boat - wished that I had seen this during the voyage as I would have shared it with my co-sailors
