Dazed

https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Dazed_again_%284972630499%29.jpg

Daily life requires
a miracle a minute
to do anything.

Miracles mostly
dodge my power and control.
Randomness may rule.

While my world shudders,
shaken and destabilized,
I feel overwhelmed.

You may wonder why I chose this picture. It turns out that when I did the Wikipedia search, this photo came up, identified as "Dazey, the goldfish, being his normal dazed self." It also turns out that I couldn't find a better picture to depict feeling dazed and overwhelmed. So Dazey it was. And he does look sort of dazed if you stare at him for a sufficiently long time. :)

Ah yes, but here's the thing:

You're a miracle.

But I do know how the "miracle a minute" plan can suck you dry. Hence, perhaps why traditional Chinese medicine refers to MS as a "withering disease."

Withering... I got down. But then again, I also got plenty of miracles too... if I can get at them. Another problem... sigh.

I do believe in miracles, but I, too, find myself overwhelmed. Dazed is a good word for it! I think the little fish is cute.

Dazed and confused seems to be the way of life for me now. I have felt SO overwhelmed lately that I can barely manage to get out of bed and get through the day.

Robert, through example, you are an everlasting reminder of what is miraculous in us.

Muff, glad you like the little fish. He's grown on me.

Gail, I guess little Dazey is a hit all around. Who knew?

Karen, I'm sorry you are going through a particularly difficult time. I'd noticed you're not posting photos as frequently. I hope you catch a break.
