Trusting

http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Kerttu_Saariaho_-_El%C3%A4m%C3%A4ntie_-_1982_-_posliinilaattataulu.JPG

I face the difficulties
while loving myself.

Not suppressing fear,
I benefit from it through
learning and growing.

My inner self grants
the guidance, knowledge, and strength
to empower me.

Inspired by wisdom from Dr. Joan Barice.

love and value are affirmed
through loved ones and work.

Researchers assert
service and compassion bring
happiness as well.

access to warm affection,
loneliness imposed.

Deprivation brings
denial of love’s wellspring.
Emotions are numbed.

Weighed by loneliness,

the truest honor.
