I Speak For

In a sacred trust,
I speak the unspoken thoughts
of muted voices.

Both fear and hope lurk
behind a shield of silence
that guards against loss.

For the hearts and minds
receiving these words I grant
their truth’s expression.

I really love this poem, and the sentiments it evokes! My fear is always there, but hope only arrives in mini segments. Thanks for sharing!
Peace,
Muff

HI JUDY -
powerful words and imagery. I too hide behind fear as I emerge with often a false sense of hope.
Love to you
Gail

Thank you Judy! There could be no one better than a poet to speak the unspoken thoughts and muted voices, we all fear, hear, and can only grasp at.

Caregvingly Yours, Patrick

Muff, I thank you for giving voice through your blog. You, too, are speaking for the muted voices.

Gail, we all hide. We all cling to hope, however unrealistic it might be.

Karen, thank you.

Patrick, I never sought to be a Poet, only to express what needed expression, especially for the silenced ones.

Laura, thanks!
