**** On Life's Journey
Research shows that, “in all cultures, the conviction that one’s predicament is hopeless may cause or hasten disintegration and death.” [Jerome and Julia Frank, Persuasion and Healing] The tools available to me to fight this disease are limited. Perfect haiku & photo! Love that bird. Have a great week! mary
Once, my husband and I watched a documentary on what would happen after nuclear annihilation. Nature was the hardiest! Humans? Nope!
I digress! Love the poem and the theme of renewal.
Peace,
Muff
Beautiful and insightful!
Nature... continues.
We also forget that we are a part of nature.
And thus... we can continue. Because it's in our... nature.
In the grand scheme things, we are part of nature. That's why I never give up hope of renewal.
HI JUDY beautiful poem and image. Some days I am the weeds, the seeds, the branches, the flower, the stem, some days I flourish other not so much.
Love to you
Gail
peace....
Nature does its thing, we cant stand in its way...does seem to work out in the long run
so true Judy... I love Gail's comment, it resonates completely for me!
Mary, thanks.
Muff, as if you and I didn’t know already that the body is far from hardy.
Robert, yes, we are part of nature, but not its most essential element necessarily. Indeed, often we are at cross purposes.
Karen, yes, the renewal aspect of nature applies to humans too. We just might not recognize the renewed form.
Gail, I love your “some days I am the weeds, … “
Kim, it does work out in the long run. We just might not be able to recognize anything familiar in it.
Laura, we both resonated with Gail’s comment.
