It keeps raining here
dismal and unrelenting
tiresome and taxing.
I should be grateful.
Nonstop drought could be much worse.
I miss the sun though.
I suspect I might
complain about too much heat
if no rain showed up.
**** On Life's Journey
Research shows that, “in all cultures, the conviction that one’s predicament is hopeless may cause or hasten disintegration and death.” [Jerome and Julia Frank, Persuasion and Healing] The tools available to me to fight this disease are limited. Could it be that keeping hope alive is the strongest weapon in my arsenal?

I think the weather has been crazy all over the country this year. We had the wettest June ever, and we still get torrential downpours after a day of heat and humidity. The flowers are thriving -- but so are the weeds.
Peace,
Muff
I love Seattle rain, more like a mist. Keeps air so fresh. I'd die in heat.
Muff, it's still raining!
Diane, I'm glad you like the rain.
Definitely truth in your poem, Judy! Hope you're having a good summer, rain or shine.
