Blogging Friends

http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Making_friends.jpg

Blessed with blogger friends,
my doors open to the world.
Limits seem remote.

Virtual connections
leap across the synapses
homebound life threatens.

Loneliness tempered,
the social network becomes
transformational.

I am so appreciative of the connections with my blogger friends. Many don't know of my circumstances, others, like you do. Either way, the connections really make a difference to my day. Thank you Judy for being here in my virtual world.

I'll add my gratitude as well. At this very moment, I'm going through the big list of MS blogs looking for those which have been removed to clean up the list somewhat.

It's a bit depressing to see just how many blogger friends have stepped away.

So many "wow, it's been so long since I've posted" posts, with "I'll get back to it again", followed by no more posts.

So glad to see you and know that you are here. :)

Yes, amiga, we have forged a bond
One from pain and tragedy, but so meaningful that I must find you each night or I cannot sleep.

The connection is from a sacred place, my son, you and me, blended into one voice, more real than the ones I hear daily.

Thank you,
Hilda

Josè Antonio, Thank you for the companionship of your heart.

Karen, I have had this disease long enough that I remember the pre-internet days. It was a very lonely, and scary situation in which we were at the mercy of the doctors. Some of the latter were great. Some were horrible. Still are, probably, but now we are armed with so much information and support. What a difference!

Gail, thank you for YOUR loving presence.

Lisa, you have done more to unify the MS blogging community than anyone I know. We owe you a great debt of gratitude for doing what you do. Thank you!

Diane, you're in my gold circle too. And you're a Hoosier too!

Hilda, I am incredibly moved by your words and feel so blessed by our connection. Your words are powerful, and I feel humbled that I can contribute in any small way toward easing your path and your pain. Yes, it is a sacred connection, and even allowing myself to think that makes me well up.
