The Truth of It

The future unknown,
though I strive to be upbeat
things can get scary.

I am now stable.
Given the alternative,
this is a good thing.

Yearning still remains
for a body that enjoys
full health and wellness.

Judy, I keep trying to block the scary images of the future, and I try to stay focused on my present stability. It's not always easy!
Peace,
Muff

Hi Judy 0 living n the moment is tough. I find this true on each side, if things are good and balanced I worry when it will change if things are not so good I am anxious for balance again - the middle seems illusive. SIgh
Love Gail

I try not to look too far ahead. It is indeed often scary. I too yearn for a body that is healthy. At this stage in the game, I try to be content with what is, and hope that what will be, isn't going to be that bad.

I am glad to hear that you are stable. Falls are nasty, and it takes a long time to recover.

Muff, it is a constant tension, even if underground, to remain positive while still acknowledging future decline.

Gail, I tell myself to live in the moment. I am not always successful.

Cubano, what a nice surprise to hear from you. Thank you for your good wishes.

Karen, we are in complete agreement.
