MS and Aging

http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Forside_Gammel_ung_profil.jpg

MS meets aging,
double teaming to worsen
incapacity.

Inexorably,
age and MS both proceed.
Neither has a cure.

It does get scary
when these unrelenting foes
challenge coping tools.

I always said that I wanted to age gracefully. That just won't happen with MS along for the ride. Sometimes, I'm not sure if an ache or pain can be attributed to the monster, or just simply the fact that I'm getting old! Thanks for the reminder, she said with her tongue planted firmly in her cheek!

HI JUDY - your words so mirror my recent reflections. 'Tis true, MS and aging are quite the dynamic duo creating havoc and uncertainty. Still, I find solace in what I still can do, most days I find solace, not all.
Love and understanding

Yep, it's a double whammy!

Muff, aging gracefully has become a pipe dream. I now don't know what's causing problems more, my aging or the MS.

Gail, it's a duet I would much rather have avoided.

Karen, yep!!!
