**** On Life's Journey
Research shows that, “in all cultures, the conviction that one’s predicament is hopeless may cause or hasten disintegration and death.” [Jerome and Julia Frank, Persuasion and Healing] The tools available to me to fight this disease are limited. Could it be that keeping hope alive is the strongest weapon in my arsenal?

Life often feels like an endurance test doesn’t it. The best any of us can do, is call upon our inner strength, move forward, and be determined to survive. I believe you have that inner strength, and you will triumph over whatever it is that has you so discouraged.
I'm sorry that you are having such a rough time Judy. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Your endurance always inspires me,and I hope you'll continue to have that grounded center about which you write.
Peace,
Muff
this encourages me to endure...I have wondered about that lately since it seems many endure something. I guess we can endure
I apologize for taking so long to respond but life is taking its not-so-merry course in distracting me from what I want to do.
Karen, thank you for your belief in my strength. It helps me believe in it myself.
Muff, staying in touch with that grounded center is a goal always.
Kim, I’m grateful that I can be of any encouragement to you. These poems are, a lot of the time, my very own pep talks to myself. This is one I have repeated to myself more than once.
