Only a Witness

A breeze wafts on wings,
invisible yet present,
passing with whispers.

What mystery comes
in near silence while passing,
powerful in deed.

Full comprehension
eludes my cognitive skills.
It may never come.

Words can't describe how excited I am to see you writing again, Judy! Jennifer and I hope everything continues to improve for you, and remember, you aren't taking in this journey alone. Indeed, peace be with you. Dan

Judy, there is so much beauty in these few words. I can close my eyes and feel that gentle, mysterious breeze of which you speak. I can also pack a world of my own meaning into those darker portions.
Be well and know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Peace,
Muff

Dan, thank you for reminding me I am not alone on this journey.

Muff, I honestly never know where my words come from so they are a gift to me; in this case, a gift which brings beauty and solace to my life. Thank you for your prayers.

Karen, thank you. I am glad to hear the whispers and find insight.

Kim, thank you. Yes, wind can be whispers if only one can hear them.

Hey there! Forget full comprehension - that's why God gave us poets!

Caregivingly Yours, Patrick

Mary, gentle breezes to you as well.

Patrick, I burst into laughter at your comment about poets being created to help us achieve full comprehension. I must have missed the special training.
